Creating packaging design for a traditional client with a modern twist.

Quarr Abbey

Originally founded in 1132, Quarr Abbey is home to a community of Benedictine monks. The Benedictine way of life is one of devotion to prayer, work & hospitality. The Abbey grounds are cultivated by monks to grow a bountiful supply of fresh food for their own sustenance and to share with the local community.

Our creative challenge was to craft a set of eye-catching, yet unified packaging designs for Quarr Abbey's wide range of products. Drawing inspiration from the striking statute Our Lady Mary that graces the abbey grounds, we chose muted greys and vibrant accent colours as our palette - emphasising distinction between different products and creating an immediate impact.
